Who We Are
The New York Mid-Atlantic Caribbean Regional Genetics Network (NYMAC) is one of seven federally-funded regional genetics networks in the U.S. and Territories.
What We Do
Our network of family groups, health care providers, public health groups, and other partners work together toward a goal of making it easier for families to connect to the genetic services and information they need.
Where We Are
The NYMAC region includes Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Virginia, and West Virginia.
NYMAC’s work is funded by a federal grant*. The work is led by the New York State Department of Health and managed by the Ferre Institute, Inc. The NYMAC Team includes partners across the region.
We are also proud to work with many family groups, public health programs, and health care providers across the region to better understand the needs of the people we serve.
